Esubalew Chekol

Software Engineer & MSc AI Student

I build systems that think, learn, and scale. Currently exploring the intersection of mathematics, artificial intelligence, and systems programming.

About Me

I'm fascinated by the mathematical foundations of computer science and their practical applications. My work spans from low-level systems programming in Rust and C++ to high-level machine learning applications in Python.

Currently pursuing my MSc in Artificial Intelligence at Addis Ababa University while building production systems that solve real-world problems. I believe in writing code that is both mathematically sound and practically useful.

When I'm not coding, you'll find me exploring new algorithms, contributing to open source projects, or diving deep into research papers on machine learning and systems design.

What I Do

  • Systems Programming

Building high-performance applications in Rust and C#. From polyglot code runners to cadastral information systems serving major Ethiopian cities.

  • Machine Learning

Applying deep learning and computer vision to solve real-world problems. Emotion classification, sentiment analysis, and satellite image optimization.

  • Full-Stack Development

Creating scalable web applications with ASP.NET Core, Django, FastAPI, and Next.js/React. From APIs to complete systems.

  • :material-telegram:{ .lg .middle } Bot Development

Specialized in building robust Telegram bots and mini applications that serve thousands of users.

run-kit

Universal multi-language runner and smart REPL written in Rust. One command to run 25+ programming languages.

Star Growth

Generate shareable scroll animations of GitHub stargazers for any repository. Built with Python and GitHub Actions.

Cadastral Information System (CIS)

Mission-critical land administration platform serving major Ethiopian cities. Built with ASP.NET Core and PostgreSQL.
